Your night, your way

The whole place, just yours.

The Stage takes one event a day. The room, the bar, the dance floor and the team are yours from the moment you arrive, with nobody else's party before or after. You choose how it feels: the light, the music, the way the room is set. The Stage team makes it happen and keeps it running, so all you have to do on the night is enjoy it with the people you love.

Bar and bat mitzvahs

Bar and bat mitzvahs, with room to dance.

The party is built around the dance floor: the signature black floor, the lighting rig, a stage for the entrance and the speeches, and a lounge where the grown-ups can sit and talk. Choose fully hosted and The Stage team plans and runs the night with you, or take it on dry hire and bring your own kosher caterer and suppliers. Either way the venue is yours alone for the day, from set-up to the last dance.

Birthdays, anniversaries and parties

Two ways to hire

Fully hosted

Arrive as a guest at your own celebration. The Stage team plans the night with you, then handles all of it: the catering, the bar, the production and the people. Your only job is to enjoy it.

Dry hire

Bring the caterer and suppliers you already love, or your own kosher caterer, into a room with the lighting, sound, stage and signature furniture already in place, and our team on the night to run it.

Not sure which suits you? Tell us about your night and we'll talk it through.

Is the venue just ours on the day?

Yes. The Stage takes one event a day, so the whole venue is yours, with nobody else's celebration before or after.

How is The Stage different from other wedding venues in north London and Hertfordshire?

Many are barns, manor houses and country hotels, made for long summer afternoons. The Stage is a different kind of wedding venue: a genuine former film and sound stage in Elstree's working studio district, with the lighting, sound and dance floor already in the room, and exclusive use for the day.

Can we bring our own kosher caterer?

Yes. On a dry hire you bring your own caterer, including your own kosher caterer, and your own suppliers. Fully hosted includes our catering partner and a full bar.

Can the room be set for dinner and dancing?

Yes. Tables can be set around the signature black dance floor, with the lounge and the bar alongside, and the lighting changes with the night, from dinner to the first dance.

Where is The Stage?

On Elstree Way, just outside north London, three minutes from the A1 and about ten from the M25, with Elstree & Borehamwood station on the Thameslink line. There are 26 spaces on site, plus the 400+ space Civic car park next door.
