The Stage is a genuine former film and sound stage in Elstree's working studio district: two rooms, 7.8m at their highest, fully immersive and fully produced, with state-of-the-art sound, lighting and projection already in place.

Set it with long tables for dinner, with a dance floor and lounge for a party, or in rows facing the stage for a conference. Change the light and it changes again. Whatever you bring, the room takes the shape of the night, and with one event a day it's yours for the whole of it.

Event space hire usually means an empty room. Here the room comes with all of this, and The Stage team to run it on the night.

    A flown PA, four wireless microphones, and connections for a DJ, a laptop or a live band.

    Three projectors mapped to the cove, ready for your own content.

  • Stage and DJ booth

    A raised stage at the end of the room, with the booth built in.

  • The team

    An event manager and two technicians on site, with security, cloakroom, attendants and cleaning taken care of.

Two ways to hire

Fully hosted

For hosts who want to be guests at their own event. The Stage team plans it with you and runs it on the night: an event planner, our catering partner, a full bar, a photo booth, the production and the people. You decide the feel of the evening and we take care of the rest.

Dry hire

For hosts with their own caterer, planner or suppliers in mind. The venue, the signature furniture, the lighting, sound and projection, and our team on the night are yours; you bring the rest, including your own kosher caterer if you'd like. A dry hire venue in Hertfordshire with the production already in the room.

What should I ask when hiring a venue?

Ask whether the venue is yours alone on the day, what's already in the room, who runs it on the night, and what you can bring in yourself. Here the answers are simple: exclusive hire, one event a day; lighting, sound and projection built in; an event manager and two technicians on site; and on a dry hire, your own caterer and suppliers.

Can I bring my own caterer?

Yes. That's what dry hire is for: bring your own caterer, including your own kosher caterer, and your own suppliers. If you'd rather it was all handled, fully hosted includes our catering partner and a full bar.

Is the venue exclusively ours?

Yes. The Stage takes one event a day, so the whole venue is yours for the day, with nobody else's event before or after.

On Elstree Way.

Venue hire in Elstree, just outside north London: three minutes from the A1 and about ten from junction 23 of the M25. Elstree & Borehamwood station is on the Thameslink line, under half an hour from St Pancras and a short taxi ride from the door.
